The colored (Terra Cotta) concrete floor has been poured. The sonotube is 18" in diameter and goes into the ground 4 feet. It will have plenty of rebar, so should be very solid. It does not touch the concrete floor.
On top of the concrete pier there will be a Pier-Tech 2, an APT wedge and my Celestron NexStar 11 GPS. I have an SBIG ST-2000XM with a CFW-8 color wheel and a MicroTouch Wireless Autofocuser.
The scope will end up asleep about 4 inches under the roof, then the Pier-Tech can lift it another 20 inches with the roof open.
